A new comedy at the cinema for Dany Boon! After 8 rue de l’Humanité, released directly on Netflix when cinemas were closed in the fall of 2021, the actor, screenwriter and director unveils Life for real.

The first images of the film, which will arrive in theaters on April 19, 2023, can be discovered now.

Dany Boon plays the main role, that of Tridan Lagache. He spent his life at Club Med, changing friends every 8 days. At 50, he resigned from the Mexican holiday club where he was born, determined to find, 42 years later, his great childhood love, Violette. He arrives in Paris, naive and lost but happy to be staying with Louis, a half-brother he didn’t know existed. To get rid of a cumbersome Tridan, Louis begs one of his conquests, Roxane, to pretend to be Violette, whom Tridan thinks he recognizes at first sight.

For Life for Real, Dany Boon finds one of his faithful accomplices, Kad Merad (Supercondriaque, Welcome to the Ch’tis). The casting will be centered more exactly on a trio, completed by Charlotte Gainsbourg, with whom Dany Boon had previously played for the sketch film They are everywhere, by Yvan Attal.

Life for Real comes out on April 19, 2023, at the cinema.
