Daphné Roulier, who celebrates her 56th birthday this Monday, February 12, 2024, has been married since May 18, 2007 to Antoine de Caunes, the former star host of Canal+, father of her son Jules, born August 14, 2008. She was in a relationship with him from 2004. Since then, they have never left each other. She shares her daily life and could undoubtedly bear witness to the improbable passion he has for “pixi”of the “10cm lead and tin figurines with human or animal motifs.”

This is what he explained to our colleagues from Point of view, who went to meet him a few months ago (an interview to be found in their edition of Wednesday October 4, 2023). The one who had just released a book a month earlier entitled Pixie. A sweet addiction had explained with humor to the magazine that as it is “little“, “Dear” And “useless“, it is therefore “essential“. Her favorite characters in Pixi: “Gaston, Lucky Luke, Asterix, all the Franco-Belgian heroes.”

Antoine De Caunes treated by the Pixi

This “sweet addiction“, which he considers to be “quite harmless“, started from a childhood memory: “A few years ago, while passing in front of the window of the Les Drapeaux de France boutique, Place Colette (in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, editor’s note), I was attracted by a detail. Among the toy soldiers, a Gaston Lagaffe, pursued by the Crocodile! The charm worked as soon as I had it in my hands, the weight, the fun, whatever. I found in 3D a hero that I loved in 2D. I bought it, put it in a corner. And then I came across other Pixi. They began to populate my interior.

The Pixi notably cured him of his “natural anxiety” : “This is the principle of transfer that can be made to an object by granting it tenderness and power. My psychologist is delighted with this new page that is opening…“, added the man who is the father of two children: Emma, born in September 1976 from his relationship with the director Gaëlle Royer, who died last year, and Louis, born in 1987 from his affair with the journalist Agnès Léglise. Thanks to the Pixi, then!
