Filming of the reboot/sequel to “Daredevil Born Again” (for D+) continues on the other side of the Atlantic with almost all the actors from the Netflix series. But one person is missing.
This is called a 180 degree turn. For several weeks now, Marvel and Disney have launched production on Daredevil: Born Again, which was to mark the return to the small screen of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. After presenting it as a reboot, the Maison des Idées backtracked by announcing that the Netflix series would be canon in the MCU (this actually followed behind-the-scenes bickering).
This had the “consequences” of allowing the return of several characters from the original series: Foggy (Elden Henson) and Karen (Deborah Ann Woll), Matt Murdock’s two lawyer friends, but also Frank Castle aka the Punisher (Jon Bernthal). But one person was missing among these beautiful people: Claire Temple, the night nurse played by Rosario Dawson, in Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders.
The night nurse back?
Asked on Twitter about her possible return to the Daredevil universe, the actress replied that she was not closed to the idea, implying in passing that she was not finished with her character. If this is not an official announcement, the return of Rosario Dawson in Daredevil Born Again would make sense.

In addition to being the one who heals our hero’s wounds, the two New Yorkers fell under each other’s spell. Before the lawyer’s nocturnal adventures undermine their budding relationship.
Dawson also didn’t have a very significant role in the Netflix series. If she comes back, it would probably be for a scene or two. Especially since the 44-year-old actress already has a project in progress for the Disney+ platform: that of the Star Wars Ahsoka series, season 2 of which is currently in development.
With her, the team of the Netflix Daredevil series will be complete. The return of Elektra (played by Elodie Yung) does not seem to be on the cards, according to the latest rumors. The superheroine made a notable arrival in season 2 but unlike the Punisher, she was not entitled to her spin-off…
Daredevil: Born Again is expected on Disney+ in late 2024/early 2025.
