independent production Dark and Darker, who has been talking about her for a few months, is back on the front of the stage, thanks to her demo. After three tries, a fourth test has just been launched, allowing you to try the game while taking advantage of the few new features implemented by the developers.
A demo for Dark and Darker
IRONMACE, the studio in charge of its development, announced that the fourth alpha was available, through the demo. This gives access to all Steam users who would like to discover this experience approaching Escape from Tarkov, we dive into a medieval world, where you will have to explore dungeons in order to obtain resources by eliminating its opponents. However, if there are many mobs, managed by the AI, you will also meet real players, who will want to eliminate you. The difficulty lies in the fact that if you die, you will not be able to recover your material, since you have to extract yourself to keep it. Everything is done in the first person, increasing the immersion.
From now until February 13, Dark and Darker can be played by anyone, on Steam. During the last tests, the production had been able to attract the public, which should once again be there.
How to enjoy Dark and Darker demo/Playtest 4?
If you want to test Dark and Darker, because you are waiting for it or because you have heard about this new game, know that you just have to go to its Steam page, and click on the “Download” button, which is displayed under the message dedicated to the demo.
Once downloaded, it will allow you to launch Dark and Darker and create your character, level 1. You will then have to go on missions, alone or with friends, to obtain better items. For this fourth alpha, the developers have added a map, a karma system, weapons and skins, to name a few. Many balances, based on feedback, have also been implemented. No release date for the final version has been shared.
