Dark Souls: the developers are “actively working” on the return of the servers

Even though Elden Ring continues to excite millions of gamers, some would like to see the return of multiplayer features in the Dark Souls on pc. As a reminder, a huge security breach was brought to light at the end of January, forcing FromSoftware to shut down the online servers of Dark Souls: Remastered/Prepare to Die Edition, Dark Souls 2/Scholar of the First Sin and Dark Souls 3.

Rapidly, the development studio had announced that it was focusing on Elden Ringthus leaving aside the problem of Dark Souls. The open-world role-playing game has since been released, it’s been treated to a few updates with improvements and fixes, so what about his old games? Well, a netizen asked the question to bandai namco and he shares the answer on Reddit :

I’m happy to confirm that the developers are actively working on resolving the issue in question, and getting the Dark Souls servers back on PC as soon as possible. At the moment we don’t have an estimate of when this will happen, however, I encourage you to follow us on social media to be kept up to date with the latest news.

Well, that doesn’t get us much further, but fans will be happy to know that FromSoftware and bandai namco have not forgotten the Dark Soulsalthough it will still take a few weeks to find the features online. Elden Ring works very well, you can find it at €50.99 on Amazon.
