The new episodes of “Das Supertalent” are not yet on TV, two jury members have to be replaced.

There were two positive corona tests in the new jury of “Das Supertalent”. For the time being, soccer world champion Lukas Podolski (36) and the Dutch presenter and musical actress Chantal Janzen (42) will not be able to be part of the recordings for the show. RTL has already provided a replacement.

The talent show, which can also be seen on TV Now, will continue to be recorded, as the broadcaster announced on August 25th. Today, in addition to fashion designer Michael Michalsky (54), the third permanent jury member, the Ehrlich Brothers, Motsi Mabuse (40) and Riccardo Simonetti (28) will take a look at the participants. The show will be moderated by Chris Tall (30) and Lola Weippert (25). The new episodes can then be seen from autumn.

How long will Podolski and Janzen be out?

“Unfortunately I got it. I have Corona and unfortunately I have to go into quarantine first,” said Podolski in a press release. However, he is fine and has no symptoms. Because of the two-week quarantine, the footballer will not be able to take part in the jury castings, the broadcaster explains. Janzen is also currently in quarantine. It was therefore tested positive the day before, but another test on Wednesday was negative.

“Because health always comes first for me and I absolutely do not want to take any risks, neither for myself nor for others, despite my last negative test, we decided to wait for another more intensive laboratory test,” said the 42-year-old in the press release . She was fully vaccinated, had Covid last year and currently has no symptoms. So there is a possibility that Janzen could continue with “Das Supertalent” in the coming days.

In March it became known that pop titan Dieter Bohlen (67) will no longer be on the juries of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” and “Das Supertalent”. Later Podolski, Janzen and Michalsky were confirmed as the new “Das Supertalent” jury.
