PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation is discussing with Serbia the sale of 12 copies of its Rafale fighter plane, La Tribune reported on its website on Tuesday, citing “concordant sources”.

According to the economic media, the recent re-election of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic “should facilitate this operation”. La Tribune nevertheless adds that a contract is “still far from being concluded and signed”.

Contacted by the Agefi-Dow Jones agency, a spokesperson for Dassault Aviation was not immediately available to comment on this information.
