– Today we received the first installment of the contract for the acquisition by the United Arab Emirates of 80 Rafale.

Signed on December 3, 2021 in the presence of the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyan, this contract, by its exceptional scope, attests to the technological expertise of Dassault Aviation , unique operational qualities of the Rafale, and illustrates the power of the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and France.

It bears witness to the historical and privileged relationship that has bound Dassault Aviation and the United Arab Emirates Air Force & Air Defense (UAE AF & AD) since its creation and reaffirms its satisfaction with Dassault aircraft as evidenced by the modernization of the Mirage 2000-9.

“The Rafale demonstrates through its

qualities

obvious operational and its export success that it

today is a real ‘

game
