Falcon 6X certified by EASA and FAA

(Saint-Cloud, August 22, 2023)

– The EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) today issued the type certificate to the Falcon 6X, leading to its certification by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) on the same day.

This certification by the European and American civil aviation authorities concludes a test campaign lasting more than two years during which 1,500 hours of flight were performed throughout the world. It paves the way for certification by other national aeronautical agencies. It stabilizes the schedule for entry into service of the Falcon 6X, the first examples of which are in the finishing phase.

“Dassaul t Aviation is delighted with this certification and thanks the EASA and FAA teams for their commitment to this particularly demanding process. We also thank our customers for their trust. The Falcon 6X is the first business aircraft that will meet the latest regulatory standards reinforcing the level of safety (Safety) and security (Security) of this brand new aircraft. The Falcon 6 X is an exceptional aircraft. With a range of 10,200 km, it is suitable for everyday missions as well as long distances. It benefits from all the know-how accumulated by our company in civil and military aeronautics for more than a century”,
