Dassault Aviation: The Rafale enters service with the Croatian Air Force

(Boursier.com) — Following the acquisition in November 2021 of twelve Rafales from the Air and Space Force, the first six Rafales from the Croatian Air Force – Hrvatsko ratno zrakoplovstvo i protuzra?na obrana (HRZ i PZO) – operated by its pilots trained in France, arrived today at operational base 91, near Zagreb, where they were welcomed by the President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanovi?, the Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovi? and Defense Minister Ivan Anuši?, during a ceremony.

Coming from the Dassault Aviation site in Mérignac, these six Rafales will join Squadron 191 of the Croatian Air Force. The next Rafales will arrive from the end of 2024 to form a complete squadron by mid-2025.
