(CercleFinance.com) – Dassault Systèmes fell by nearly 3%, under the weight of a downgrading of advice at Jefferies from ‘hold’ to ‘underperformance’ with a price target reduced from 40 to 33 euros on the share of the French enterprise software publisher.
The broker believes that Dassault Systèmes is lagging behind the software industry trend towards cloud/SaaS. According to him, ‘the acquisition of cloud capabilities has triggered a fall in valuation elsewhere in the sector and the same should happen to Dassault’.
