David Beckham is producing a film about his life and is said to be in talks with Amazon and Netflix.
David Beckham (45) has a new project: The former football player is supposed to work on a film about his life, as the British newspaper "The Sun" reports. Accordingly, the athlete documentary "The Last Dance" about Michael Jordan (57) is said to have inspired him. Work on the documentation has already started, as the paper reports online.
"The Sun" quotes an insider: "David is thrilled and wanted to do it for a while." The film is said to contain both new content and archive material. Not only sport, but also his famous wife Victoria Beckham (46) will play a bigger role. "It will be about David's life after football, especially the creation of his new team in Miami, but there will also be some personal content."
The film is produced by Beck's TV company Studio 99. Both Amazon and Netflix are said to be interested in the film rights. The latter streaming service had previously had good experiences with the Michael Jordan documentary "The Last Dance".
