Hackers allegedly stole a lot of data from a precious jeweler. Leaks could also affect famous customers.

A hacker group called Conti has apparently gained access to sensitive data of the British noble jeweler Graff, which could also affect numerous stars. As reported in the “Mail on Sunday”, the cyber criminals, who are probably based in Russia, stole thousands upon thousands of documents, which are also said to contain customer lists and information as well as transactions. Some of this data has already been leaked, according to the report. In order to prevent further revelations, an unspecified sum in the millions would have to be paid.

While the company threatens not only financial damage but also a loss of image, according to “Mail on Sunday” one or the other celebrity could also find it difficult to explain. For example, if further leaks reveal that stars bought expensive jewelry for any affairs or accepted it as a bribe, it is speculated.

Further blackmail possible

Conti is known for using such attacks on companies to blackmail their customers as well, it continues. International celebrities on the leaked list should include Oprah Winfrey (67), David Beckham (46), Donald Trump (75), Tom Hanks (65) and Samuel L. Jackson (72). Various politicians, entrepreneurs and the super-rich from all over the world are also affected.
