Love is in the meadow is back ! The 18th season from the flagship program of M6, presented by Karine Le Marchand has made a comeback, this Monday, August 21. And this new season is unlike any other. Indeed, some contestants left the show after the portraits aired. These are the farmers Baptist, Charles and David. You may have noticed their absence during the first episode of the season. However, the latter had the right to the distribution of their portrait last January.
But for them, the adventure is already over. They will know neither the opening of the mails, nor the speed datings and neither the stays at the farm with the suitors. As a result, this 18th season of Love is in the meadow will be composed of eleven farmers and not fourteen. But for what reasons? Baptiste decided to leave the adventure after having set the table again with his former girlfriend. For David, the finding is more disappointing.

If David was indeed hoping to find love, he unfortunately finds himself deprived of speed dating. “This is the first time that this has happened, that we cannot organize mail delivery or speed dating”, explains Gabriella Mather, the show’s producer. Yet, David had received letters. “David received letters people we haven’t been able to reach, very young women aged 19 or 20, much older women between 60 and 70. The women absolutely did not fit what he is looking for”.
An age gap that did not really please David. Disappointed, he confides: “They were all forwarded to me, I read them anyway. But they were sent by women who had large age gaps with me. Often twenty years older or younger, and that bothers me. However, the production is ready to give David a chance! Indeed, a new call for mail has been organized especially for him. “The production has decided to relaunch a call for letters, it’s quite unprecedented… We have to believe that i am one of a kind. I’m still waiting for the letter that will change everything”. We cross fingers !
