David Pastrnak mourns his son, who was born on June 17th

Recently, ice hockey star David Pastrnak became the father of a son. The boy died a few days after he was born.
NHL professional David Pastrnak (25) mourns the loss of his newborn son. To a black and white picture of the boy’s feet writes the Czech ice hockey star on Instagram: “Viggo Rohl Pastrnak, June 17, 2021 – June 23, 2021”. In just a few more heartbreaking words, Pastrnak explains, “We have an angel to watch over us, and we call him SON. You are loved FOREVER.” The family ask for privacy during this difficult time.
“No family should ever have to go through something like this”
Numerous colleagues and fans reached out to social media to express their condolences. His team, the Boston Bruins, declared on Twitterthat the players and the organization were “heartbroken” over the death of Pastrnak’s son. The player and his partner Rebecca Rohlsson are “part of our family” and they share the sadness with the couple. For example, one fan commented, “I’m so sorry, Pasta. No family should ever have to go through this. I pray for you.” Another declared, “Oh my god, I can’t even imagine this pain.”
In May Pastrnak had in conversation with the NHL explains how much he and his girlfriend had been looking forward to the baby. “I’m grateful to be able to live and work in a job I love, but at the end of the day it’s just a game. [Meine Familie] will always come first, “he said, among other things.
