Day 4 Night founded by Rockstar and Ubisoft veterans

Red Dead Redemption has little in common with Mario + Rabbidsexcept that they are very good games, each in their own genre. However, the lead designer and screenwriter of the first RDR Christian Cantamessa teamed up with the creative director of gamesUbisoft Davide Soliani to found Day 4 Nighta new studio.

Christian Cantamessa is also level designer of Manhunt And GTA: San Andreas as well as game scriptwriter Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor And Shadow of Warwhile Davide Soliani worked on ports of Rayman, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3 and JustDance. Davide Soliani also takes with him other members ofUbisoft like Cristina Nava, Gian Marco Zanna and Luca Breda, suffice to say thatthere are already a lot of people there Day 4 Night.

The ambitions of this young studio are simple: “pushing the boundaries of storytelling and game design” while working on “a new, completely new game”. Suffice to say that this already sells dreams to players and to achieve its objective, Day 4 Night partnered with the publisher Krafton and Ed Fries, co-creator of Xbox and manager of 1Up Ventures.
