Lille, Thursday December 1, 2022

– The DBT group (Euronext Growth – ALDBT), European expert in electric mobility, offering sustainable solutions for the energy transition, equips the first E-stations of French LIDL stores across France. The inauguration of the first E-station took place on November 21, 2022.

LIDL, a driving force behind ecological transition and a major player in sustainable mobility, initiated the series of inaugurations of the first E-stations with DBT, supplier of accelerated charging stations. Close to Lyon and towards the Alps or the Côte d’Azur, the site of the first opening, Villefranche, serves as an exceptional location for charging electric vehicles quickly and economically.

This E-station, entirely dedicated to charging electric vehicles, is made up of 13 parking spaces equipped with accelerated and fast chargers. The selected DBT model is the Keren 2x 22kW for its robustness, reliability and high environmental value.

The Keren illustrates DBT’s commitment to the

made in France

. The group adapts the model of short circuits to industry, manufactures 100% of its production in Hauts-de-France, buys more than 95% of the components in France and selects 50% of its suppliers within a radius of 50km.

With a target of installing 2,300 charging points in more than 500 supermarkets, Lidl has notably chosen the French manufacturer to support it in its sustainable mobility policy and make electric terminals accessible to as many people as possible. DBT has already delivered more than a hundred terminals and the installations will continue throughout 2023.

After this first opening, 3 other inaugurations are already planned by December: at the Lidl supermarket in Landivisiau and Pennes-Mirabeau, near Marseille, on December 5, followed by Tourcoing on December 9. Two other E-stations will complete the network in 2023.

Matthieu Frechon, National Technical Director at LIDL France,

commented in the brand’s press release of 21.11.22:

“For LIDL, encouraging sustainable mobility is a necessity and this requires concrete actions. Aware that a large number of our customers use their vehicle to come to our supermarkets, we are reaffirming, thanks to this new initiative, our commitment to sustainable mobility by providing them with more efficient, safer and more accessible solutions. Today, we are taking a new step and we are proud to inaugurate our first E-stations. »

“We are proud to have been selected by LIDL to equip E-stations with our accelerated terminals and to be once again associated with a national first during this opening. This project reinforces our industrial approach which combines Made-in-France with quality and performance. We develop our entire range internally, which gives us technological expertise and allows us to support large-scale deployment markets. This spotlight today is also recognition for our partners and collaborators, whom I fully associate with this success! », adds
