Good news, THE 2v8 will return from November 12 to 26 in DbDwith regular updates to keep players happy. In particular, it will be possible to enjoy the mode with new characters, on new maps, here is everything you need to know about the return of 2v8 :

Although the 2v8 game mode debuted just a few months ago, the development team is back with a second offering. Fast, iterative design has always been an integral part of the plan for this highly complex and chaotic mode, and as with most things in Dead by Daylight’s approach, it’s all about being close to the player.

  • An enriched range of characters

From the start, the Design team knew that it would be necessary to enrich the content of the mode to give it its full maturity. While all Survivors are available out of the box, the first version of 2v8 only allowed a small portion of Killers and cards, and the team has since introduced more.

Joining the Trapper, the Ghost, the Mountaineer, the Nurse and the Huntress, here is the Scourge, the Spirit And the Deaththrower with whom killer players will now also be able to team up. Additionally, new maps for the Yamaoka Estate and Glenvale Tomb realms have been adapted for 2v8, as well as several other new maps for the mode’s existing realms.

  • Survivor Updates

A huge appeal that 2v8 offers is the ability for a player to have a team of two killers for the first time in Dead by Daylight. To balance the situation, the Design team strengthened the survivor experience by adding active abilities as well as abilities to unlock improved.

Each survivor class (Guide, Toubib, Fugitive and Scout) will now have access to two unique abilities. Unlockable abilities have been improved to give a unique skill associated with each survivor class. Each class can unlock their skill after undergoing the cage, allowing players to perform decisive maneuvers at key moments.

Active abilities charge for a period of time and can be triggered to do everything from straightening or repairing destroyed pallets, to granting repair speed bonuses to teammates and more. Once charged, they can also be used to recover from critical condition and a survivor can get back up on their own as many times as necessary.

  • New Killer Classes

Slayers will now be able to choose one of four distinct classes, each offering advantages in one aspect of hunting. Not only does this allow players to push their preferred playstyle even further, but it also creates a more standardized format that makes it easier for designers to integrate new killers into the mode in the future.

The four killer classes are:

    • Shadow – encourages stealth to approach survivors, block escape routes, and work in tandem to create the element of surprise.
    • Bully – is to essentially be an inexorable and relentless force during chases.
    • Executor – perfect for preying on the weak and finishing off injured survivors.
    • Alarmist – focuses on moving throughout the map and remaining invisible to help his partner in the hunt.

Dead by Daylight is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch, you can find it in Special Edition has €19.99 on Amazon.
