Behaviour Interactive And Konami are clearly getting along well, they have already teamed up to create the Silent Hill Chapter In Dead by Daylightbut now, it’s another cult franchise from the Japanese studio that is invited into the multiplayer horror game gameplay asymmetric.
THE Castlevania Chapter is available in Dead by Daylightadding the Dark Lord Killer and the Survivor Trevor Belmont. Here are the abilities of these two new characters:
Variety is the spice of death
The creative team channeled this passion and focused on one of the Dark Lord’s most unique abilities, one never before seen in Dead by Daylight: shapeshifting.
Dracula’s power grants him three forms that he can instantly switch between, each specializing in a specific facet of hunting, creating three killers in one.
- Vampiric form : With Dracula’s base form, players can unleash an attack called Hellfire, which launches a series of flames forward. This attack can pass through obstacles, including pallets and windows.
- Wolf shape : Wolf form is played in third-person view and specializes in tracking down Survivors. Players gain increased vision of scratch marks and blood pools, and any Survivor running generates visible scent orbs that can be picked up to speed up the Wolf’s pace and point it in the right direction. Once prey is in range, players can unleash a Pounce Attack.
- Bat shape : Bat form is played in third-person view and offers a faster base movement speed, making it a major mobility asset. Lacking a fear radius and with the ability to teleport to any nearby jump location, Bat form grants Dracula the stealth of the night itself. While players cannot see Survivors in this form, scratch marks are still visible and footsteps are much easier to hear.
Imposing, majestic and merciless, the Dark Lord displays his arrogance for humanity even in his elegant attire. His Mori is the highlight, which sees him nonchalantly slitting the throat of his victim with a gesture of his razor-sharp nails, before collecting the blood in a cup that he empties in one gulp while his prey expires at his feet.
Vampire Killer
Trevor Belmont is no stranger to the supernatural, and his eternal battle against the Dark Lord rages in the Fog. There, he will be forced to face his nemesis in endless Trials, relying on the traits that make him the ultimate Belmont to help his team survive. Trevor Belmont brings three new abilities to Dead by Daylight.
- Belmont Eyes : When a generator is completed, the killer’s aura is briefly revealed. Each time the killer’s aura is revealed, the duration of its visibility is extended.
- Exultation : When the player stuns a killer with a palette while holding an item, that item will be upgraded to the next rarity rank (if possible).
- Moment of glory : Moment of Glory activates after searching a certain number of chests. When the player becomes injured, they will suffer the Broken status effect and will restore one health state after a while.
In addition to this, players can discover the collection Castlevaniaadding cosmetic items for characters, including outfits Very rare of Leon And Simon Belmont For Trevor.
