Since the official release in 2018 of Dead Cells, the developers at Motion Twin are working on their roguelite in order to regularly bring new content. Thus, PC players have recently been able to discover the Boss Rush mode. However, the Bordeaux development studio has reserved new surprises for them.
Indeed, as announced via several publications on Twitter, Dead Cells welcomes, on this Monday, November 7, a new free update. This introduces many noveltiesin connection with no less than six well-known video game licenses : terraria, Slay the SpireShovel Knight, Katana Zero, Hotline Miami and Risk of Rain.
Thus, thanks to this update, it will be possible to embody King Scepter (Shovel Knight), to kill his enemies by arming himself with a katana (Katana Zero) or to cross the levels as a Jacket, equipped of his trusty baseball bat (Hotline Miami). In addition, this will be an opportunity to play with the Starfury sword, available on Terraria, which can in particular cause critical damage to enemies. Without forgetting, the character Ironclad which will allow us to discover a new skill articulated around four cards of Slay the Spire as well as the Commando and his weapon “Laser Glaive” (Risk of Rain).
