In the shadows for several months despite his exuberant character, Deadpool gives news for his third film.
Our colleagues at HollywoodReporter have indeed revealed that Shawn Levy, producer of the series Stranger Thingswill be in charge of the realization of the next adventures of the colorful anti-hero.
Deadpool knows a thing or two about stranger things
Since an announcement over a year ago from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige that Deadpool 3 would be well integrated into the MCU and keep its very mature character, the fourth wall breaker kept a low profile. This has just recently changed since we now know who will be directing his next film.
Mainly known for his work on Stranger Things, Shawn Levy was also very involved in the last works of Ryan Reynolds. As a reminder, this one will hold for Deadpool 3 important roles both in front of and behind the camera, especially on the script.
As the actor indicates, this will be Shawn Levy’s third directorial role on one of his projects, the last two being the film Free Guy and Adam through time
on Netflix.
