Deadpool 3: Ryan Reynolds will slip back into the superhero role

The loose-mouthed mercenary will return to the big screen. Ryan Reynolds will apparently play Deadpool again.

He was actually born for this role: Ryan Reynolds (44) will return in "Deadpool 3" as the mercenary with the loose mouth, as reported by the industry magazine "Variety". After some back and forth, the production of the film should now be in the first moves.

Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy Molyneux were apparently hired to write the script. The sisters are known, among other things, for their work on the animated series "Bob's Burgers". Reynolds should not only play the main role, but also act as the producer of the film – together with Simon Kinberg (47) and Lauren Shuler Donner (71), who also produced the two predecessors.

At the end of 2019, Reynolds had confirmed that they were in the planning for "Deadpool 3". Rob Liefeld (53), the creator of the Marvel character, said in July 2020 that no other film in the series would appear. "There may not be another Deadpool movie, but that's fine with me. I had two wonderful experiences and two films that I'm particularly proud of," he said at the time.
