A bad surprise. Eight complaints were filed after the intoxication of a dozen employees during a birthday party in a company in La Chapelle-d’Angillon (Cher), last November.
After several months of analysis, the results of the gendarmes fell in mid-April: the intoxicated employees had eaten a “space cake”, a cake with cannabis, without knowing it, reveals France Bleu Berry. The employee wishing to celebrate his birthday at work had brought the cake, without specifying its particularity to his colleagues.
Some hospitalized colleagues
In total, a dozen employees had been sick with vomiting and headaches. Three of them became more seriously ill and had to be hospitalized in a state of relative emergency.
The employee will be summoned by the courts. According to information from Republican Berry, he is no longer part of the company.
