Death drama in Linz – Six-year-old child dies after falling out of a window

A fatal accident has shaken the residents of a residential building in Linz since Saturday. A six-year-old child had fallen from the fourth floor onto the sidewalk below – apparently unnoticed by relatives. Despite rapid medical help, the life of the child who fell could not be saved.

The horrific tragedy took place on Saturday afternoon in front of the multi-story residential building on Linz’s Industriezeile. A six-year-old child was found motionless on the sidewalk by a woman around 4:30 p.m. A window on the fourth floor of the building was open at the time. It was therefore reasonable to assume that the child had fallen from there into the depths. At that point, it apparently no longer showed any signs of life. Attempts at resuscitation The emergency doctor and police were immediately alerted, and the small patient was transported to MedCampus IV of the Kepler University Hospital under intensive resuscitation attempts. Unfortunately, the medical teams there were unable to save the child’s life. It is likely that he died as a result of massive polytrauma caused by the deep fall. How the accident could have happened was initially unclear. The severely shocked relatives had to be given psychological care.
