Death of Bruno Dubernat, French voice of Boba Fett in Star Wars


Notably famous for having lent his voice to Temuera Morrison, alias Jango and Boba Fett in the Star Wars saga, as well as Tobin Bell in the Saw franchise, French comedian Bruno Dubernat died at the age of 60.

Born in 1962, Bruno Dubernat trained as an actor. In addition to a few small film roles in secondary films, it is above all in the field of dubbing that he made himself known, as an actor but also as an artistic director.

He is particularly known for having vocally embodied one of the most famous characters in the Star Wars galaxy by doubling Temuera Morrison: Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones then, very recently his son Boba Fett in the series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

Another essential character in his vast voxography: the terrifying Jigsaw, played by Tobin Bell in the Saw saga, and whom Bruno Dubernat interpreted 8 times.

He died in April 2022 at the age of 60.
