Death of Christophe: Michèle Torr, "collapsed", confides in their love story: Current Woman Le MAG

Christophe is gone. On Thursday April 16, 2020, after long weeks plunged into an artificial coma, the singer died at the age of 74 of a pulmonary disease as his wife Véronique Bevilacqua announced to AFP. If the interpreter of Blue Words was able to count on his close family to accompany him on his last trip, for others, the farewells were more difficult. Indeed, his ex-partner, singer Michèle Torr, sent a final message to the one who shared his life in the 1960s and gave him the joy of being a mother for the first time.

Asked about this disappearance on BFMTV this Friday, April 17, Michèle Torr, fully admitting "collapsed", confessed to having lived a beautiful love story filled with pitfalls: "He was a secret man, very special, with a kind of brilliant madness (…) a man apart. We could forgive Christophe for everything because deep down he had a beautiful soul and he couldn't act like everyone else. Our history has long been difficult, with roadblocks. Now is not the time to talk about roadblocks. " Indeed, at the time of the birth of their child in 1967, Christophe lifts the veils and refuses his statute of father.

Christophe will never recognize their child

To Michèle Torr's biggest regret, Christophe never recognized their Roman child, now 52 years old. Asked about it in Brain Magazine in 2012, the singer had evoked a rather tense atmosphere between the former lovers: "There were intimate things that only concern her and me. There was a kind of hatred …" For its part, the interpreter of Take me dancing tonight always defended the father of his child, saying that the birth of Romain had been a blessing: "We have a child, we did the most beautiful thing that can be done", she confided to Non Stop People last September.
