Death of Christophe: the singer has been seeing his Roman son for several years according to Michèle Torr: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

For the past few days, the world of music has been in mourning. While hospitalized on March 26, Christophe died on the night of April 16-17 from respiratory failure at Brest Hospital. While his wife Véronique Kan revealed toAFP that the singer was suffering from a "emphysema", a pulmonary disease, without mentioning the epidemic of the coronavirus, his daughter Lucie was present by his side to accompany him in his last moments. If Christophe had often confided in his sometimes complex relationship with his child, he was also the father of Romain, 54, born of his past union with Michèle Torr and whom he did not recognize. While the father and son have never been close, the singer has just made surprising revelations in the columns of the Parisian. According to the artist, the two men have grown closer over the years.

Christophe had reconnected with Romain

During her interview, Michèle Torr explained that her Roman son saw his father discreetly. "For the past ten years, they have seen each other regularly. It was always in secret. They wrote to each other, sent e-mails and they saw each other in Aix-en-Provence when Christophe came to see his brother, Yves. Romain was then able to find his second family. Romain is called Vidal, he was raised by Jean Vidal, who was a great father, and asks nothing, wants nothing. But it did him good to finally know his biological father, his uncles, his cousins. It made me happy too ", she said. While Christophe and Michèle Torr have been in the cold for decades, they finally found themselves last year on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of singer and actor Marcel Amont: "We were able to talk quietly, serenely, about everything, about Romain, his half-sister … Lucie and Romain were ready to meet, at one point, but that unfortunately did not happen. I hope it will happen One day…", she concluded.
