The day after the death of Daniel Lévi, many personalities wanted to pay him a last tribute, sometimes very moving. The singer died on Saturday August 6 from colon cancer. He was 60 years old.
Three years after having fought a tough battle against the disease, Daniel Lévi died this Saturday, August 6 consequences of colon cancer. The singer, notably known for his title “The desire to love” and his interpretation of Moses in the musical The Ten Commandments, was only 60 years old. So, inevitably, his death marked many people. His relatives, of course, but also many personalities who had the honor of meeting him during his rich career.
This is the case of Cyril Hanouna. Following the announcement of this terrible news, the star presenter of Touche not at my post has decided to share his pain on Twitter. “I am very sad to learn at the moment that Daniel Lévi has left us. I think very strongly of his loved ones. He was an immense talent and an example of humility. We will miss him. My sincere condolences to his family”. Her former colleague, singer Ginie Line, also pulled out her phone to pay a final tribute to the one who shared the Ten Commandments stage with her. “You will always be in my heart. Bon voyage Dani. I will miss you so much”, she wrote.

Faithful friend of Daniel Lévi, Pascal Obispo took a little longer to describe his sadness. Certainly to weigh the weight of his words. “A man, a voice, a brother is gone. No matter how hard I look for the words, I can’t find any good enough. It was big, it was good, it was us”. Throughout the evening – and this will logically last throughout the weekend -, French personalities have almost all described their pain.
Like Amel Bent: “A moving thought for the family of Daniel Levi. I wish you a lot of courage in this ordeal. Daniel had one of the most beautiful voices in France and this music lover has built, thanks to his groove, his warm timbre, his musicality, his velocity and his emotion, a marvelous bridge between French variety and soul/rnb. Respect to this great artist and immense singer who gave many people the desire to love and sing. Peace on you”.
