Death of Gaspard Ulliel: “We should have grown old together”, the beautiful tribute of Léa Seydoux

This Sunday, March 13, the Sunday Journal published an interview with Léa Seydoux in which the actress pays a vibrant tribute to her deceased friend, Gaspard Ulliel. Sincerity and emotion were there.

These are in the columns of the Sunday newspaper that the beautiful Léa Seydoux gave herself up for this edition of Sunday March 13. After discussing his cinematographic projects as well as his role in the feature film My wife’s storyto be found in cinemas in three days, the actress made a wonderful tribute to Gaspard Ulliel.

Tragically deceased in a skiing accident last January, the actor occupied, and still occupies a very important place in the heart of Léa Seydoux, who let it be known through touching and heartbreaking words of sincerity.

“We grew up together, played together”

The 36-year-old first spoke to her friend about an upcoming project, which has unfortunately been disrupted by his passing: “I was supposed to do Bertrand Bonello’s next film, but I don’t know when we can shoot, because we have to replace Gaspard first”she confided.

The actress then went on to talk about her dear and tender playmate: “He was part of my movie family. Our paths are parallel she said, before adding: “We grew up together, played together, we should have grown up together…”.

Léa Seydoux then spoke of the reasons why she loved and admired Gaspard Uliel, professionally but also and above all personally speaking: “I loved his grace and his intelligent way, not at all narcissistic, of talking about the job. And he had this way of floating, of being there without being there, in which I recognized myself”she confided, before concluding with emotion: “His death was an incredible shock, I still can’t believe it.”
