Lady Gabriella Windsor lives with her parents again. After her husband’s sudden death, she moved back to Kensington Palace.

Lady Gabriella Windsor (43) has moved. Until two months ago, the daughter of Prince Michael of Kent (81) and his wife (79) lived with her husband Thomas Kingston (1978-2024) in Notting Hill. The financier died unexpectedly on February 25th at the age of 45. His widow now lives with her parents again. That reports the royalist magazine “Hello!”.

Prince Michael, who is a cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), and Princess Michael of Kent have been permanently living in apartment ten in Kensington Palace since last summer. The nobles had previously sold their country house in the Cotswolds for around 11 million pounds.

Tragic death

Lady Gabriella Windsor’s husband was found dead at his parents’ home in the Cotswolds in February. The autopsy revealed that he died of a “traumatic head wound.” There was a gun next to the body. According to the police, there is nothing to indicate a violent crime.

On March 12th he was buried in the royal chapel at St. James’s Chapel in London. The British heir to the throne, Prince William (41), the Duke of Kent (88) and Princess Alexandra (87) are said to have been among the 140 mourners. “Tom was an extraordinary man who brightened the lives of everyone who knew him,” Lady Gabriela Windsor said in a statement released by the palace.

The writer and Thomas Kingston married in May 2019 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. The Queen, Prince Philip (1921-2021) and Prince Harry (39), among others, were present at the ceremony.
