It was during a live broadcast on Instagram that Sophie Favier made amazing revelations about the end of life of a host dear to her heart: Jean-Luc Delarue.

On August 23, 2012, Jean-Luc Delarue disappeared at the age of 48.The host would die of stomach cancer, a disease he had been fighting for two years. At the time of the diagnosis, he had spent fifteen days in the hospital and had decided to make public this disease which gnawed at him and caused him a lot of pain. Much appreciated animator, Jean-Luc Delarue could count on the presence of some of his peers, like Sophie Favier. The latter returned to the death of the host, during a live broadcast on Instagram on July 26, 2022, in the company of Adeline Blondieau.

Et the former TF1 columnist wanted to pay him a moving tribute : “What I liked about him is that he was dented, he had suffered a lot when he was young, small. And he was a man of light, with great intellectual demands. A leader.” Sophie Favier also makes astonishing revelations about the host’s end of life : “I had the chance to meet another person who knew him in a therapeutic way. She accompanied him at the end of his life. I can say it now because he is no longer there, she provided him with body care every day, really at the very end of her life. And she said to me, ‘Sophie, he’s a great man.’ He was above the lot. And yet, I rubbed shoulders with the greatest, Thierry Ardisson, Christophe Dechavanne, Jean-Pierre Foucault. People of a very confirmed level. But Jean-Luc was… wow. What elegance”, she confides.

In 2016, the last companion of Jean-Luc Delarue, Anissa, had unveiled the last moments of the animator’s lifeduring its passage through 50′ Inside: “He asked me to close the shutters, turn off the light, give him his earplugs. That’s what I did. Then he fell asleep, I took a book, I I was with him and he passed away in his sleep. I have the feeling that he left in peace since he fell asleep with a smile”.
