This is the beginning of a very sad period for the family of Jean-Pierre Pernaut. The emblematic journalist of TF1 leaves behind his wife Nathalie, as well as his four children, Lou, Tom, Julia and Olivier.
Lou Pernaut had made herself more and more present on the screen after the announcement of Jean-Pierre Pernaut’s cancer, which occurred a few months ago. The young woman had been invited on the set of Do not touch My TVto give news of his father.
Wednesday March 2, Lou Pernaut must now face the death of his father Jean-Pierre Pernaut, after hospitalization. On his profile TikTokthe teenager posted a short message for her subscribers: “Thank you all for your love. We’re staying with family for now. Enjoy your loved ones, and tell them you love them”she wrote in black on white with a song by Johnny Hallyday in the background.
In the comments section, tributes to the attention of Jean-Pierre Pernaut multiply: “We all loved your dad, may he rest in peace, courage to all your family” ; “I feel like I lost an uncle. Hugs to all the family” ; “For us, he was immortal”can we read.
Lou Pernaut: “My father, I film him every day”
A month before the announcement of his cancer, Lou Pernaut had been invited by Cyril Hanouna on the set of Do not touch My TV. Faced with chroniclers, the teenager had made some confidences about her father, who died at the age of 71: “My father, I film him every day because he is so natural”she said on the set.
On Instagram and TikTok, Lou Pernaut did not hesitate to stage his father in rather comical postures: “Even in everyday life, when you meet him, you don’t think he’s someone who presented the news every day for several years“, had proudly testified the young woman, who wishes to follow in the footsteps of her father.
Lou Pernaut was also grateful to the public who admired her father: “People don’t necessarily tell me if they love my dad or not and I am lucky to have a father who is very appreciated, just like my mother. So in general it’s ok“, she finished.
