American actress Lisa Loring, known for her role as little Wednesday in the 1960s series “The Addams Family”, died of a heart attack on Saturday January 28. She was 64 years old.
Born in 1958 in the Marshall Islands, Lisa Loring began her career as a model when she was only three years old. She played her very first role in an episode of the medical drama Dr Kildare, in 1964. It was with her role as Wednesday in The Addams Family, at the age of six, that she obtained her first recurring role.
The rest of his career is very sparse. In 1966, she played the daughter of a wealthy family living in Long Island in The Pruitts of Southampton, a series which lasted only one season, then obtained a role in Annie, very special agent, spin-off of the series Agents very special.
She was then absent from the screens for almost a decade, but returned for the TV movie The Addams Family: Party Time, broadcast for Halloween 1977. She resumed her role as Wednesday, obviously older. During the 90s, she suffered from depression and fell into heroin. Entering intensive care to get rid of her addictions, Lisa Loring put her career in the industry on hold. In 2003, she married for the fourth time. This new union also ends in divorce in 2014.
