Fans of the Sex Education series obviously already know her. For everyone else, find out who actress Emma Mackey is, who plays the ambiguous role of Jacqueline de Bellefort in Death on the Nile, a new adaptation by Agatha Christie currently in theaters.

Emma Mackey is Franco-British, since her father is French while her mother is English. She grew up in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, in Sarthe, and obtained her baccalaureate in 2013, before crossing the Channel to continue her studies. In 2020, she confided to the microphone ofHere London :

I lived in France until I was 17, then I went to university in England in Leeds, and then I moved to London two years ago.

After playing in the plays put on by her faculty, Emma Mackey was chosen at the age of 23 to play Maeve in the series. Sex Education.
