Available since November 2019 on PlayStation 4 consoles and then available in July 2020 on PC, Death Stranding by Kojima Productions is currently the very first game from the studio. If it’s aimed at a specific audience shall we say, it would seem that the producer, Hideo Kojima, wishes to reach as many players as possible around the worldat least if the latest clue left by the PC Game Pass Twitter account is to be believed.
Death Stranding soon in the PC Game Pass?
Last Tuesday, as of August 16, the profile image of the official PC Game Pass Twitter account has indeed been changed, revealing a landscape that strongly resembles what we can see in Death Stranding. If nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing these lines, we have a safe bet on the arrival of the title in the PC Game Pass.
Following the profile photo change, the PC Game Pass Twitter account had fun tweeting “sometimes we just like a good landscape photo”, and it did not take more for several users of the social network to do quickly the connection with the game of Hideo Kojima. Following this publication, several players have indeed published in turn other photos of this same landscape, the latter therefore indeed coming from Death Stranding. However, if some have doubts and lean more towards Starfield, the evidence is there and undeniable.
Through this post, we imagine not without too much difficulty that the studio is teasing the arrival of Death Stranding in its catalog, especially since the latter has just, once again, changed its profile photo: the same landscape but this time showing rain, just to tease the players.
Despite the lack of a release date, such an arrival in the PC Game Pass is not so surprising: MLB The Show 22 also joined the Xbox Game Pass last April, when it was developed by the PlayStation Studio in San Diego.
Moreover, to see such an alliance born is not so surprising either because Hideo Kojima said at the Summer Games Fest 2022 to work in collaboration with Microsoft Xbox on a game then exploiting cloud technology. Finally, we will most certainly know more during the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2022 which will take place, we remind you, on Tuesday August 23 at 11 a.m. PT, or 8 p.m. French time since, we remind you, but the producer had announced on Twitter to have completed a mysterious trailer… Overdose, Death Stranding in the Game Pass, the sequel to Death Stranding or Silent Hill? Mystery for now…
