Death toll from floods in southern Brazil reaches 136

RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) – Heavy rains in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul have left 136 dead and 125 missing, according to a latest report established on Saturday by local authorities.

Floods in Brazil’s southernmost state, where nearly 11 million people live, have also displaced nearly 340,000 people, according to local civil defense.
