Deathloop is coming to Game Pass on September 20

Developed for PC and PlayStation, the game published by Bethesda has been at the center of many questions. A year before its release, Microsoft had just bought the company and its subsidiaries. Despite this, the exclusivity promised during development was kept. But a year later, Sony’s exclusivity for death loop is no longer, and Phil Spencer intends to take the opportunity to expand his Game Pass from September 20.

On this date, Arkane Lyon’s game will be available on Xbox Series. However, it is already available for pre-order for the console. Furthermore, death loop can also be pre-downloaded now on Xbox Game Pass. It thus benefits from all the updates released, in addition to a major update which adds new weapons, enemies, powers and above all an additional end.

This marks a big blow for Microsoft which, even if the game has already been able to find a large part of its audience on PC, can now take advantage of an additional console. Its arrival in the Game Pass is also a huge advantage to enjoy it at a lower cost. But it is above all Sony that is most likely to suffer from it, because the end of the exclusivity of death loop is just a start.

What’s next for Game Pass and Microsoft?

The suite for Microsoft consoles is very simple: get all the exclusives from their studios to add to their offers. If there are not many at the moment, we can still expect to see other Bethesda titles join the movement. And it should start again in March 2023 with Ghostwire: Tokyo. As for death loopwe can expect a big hit, with an update that will add content.
