Deathwing returns to Azeroth with Cataclysm Classic – Gamosaurus

We expected it since Blizzard launched a survey, but World of Warcraft Classic continues to revive the history of Azeroth with the arrival of Cataclysm in 2024. Officialized at BlizzCon 2023, it will be possible to rediscover the new zones, races and adventures of the expansion. No specific date at the moment, but the Twilight’s Hammer and its faithful will be there for 2024.

As with previous expansions, the original experience will return here. The updates will be delivered with a few months delay, in order to relive the extension as it was back then. You will therefore have to wait to tackle Deathwing in the Soul of Dragons, or face Ragnaros once again in the Firelands. Horde and Alliance will be able to benefit from new races with the arrival of Goblins and Worgens.

The expansion should also benefit from a special event a few weeks before its release, with an Aspect of Death flying over the world of Azeroth. But Cataclysm above all marks greater ease in reaching the maximum level, and this will be the case on Classic. Flying mounts can also be used in all regions of Azeroth. If many consider this expansion as the beginning of the end, there is no doubt that nostalgia will make some people want to return.
