The in-ear headphones come equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which we found to be effective, though not flawless. The sound quality exceeded our expectations, and the controls are conveniently located at the ear rather than on the headphones themselves.
The battery life of the Huawei Watch Buds can vary significantly depending on usage. Under mixed usage conditions, the device can last up to three days. Charging the headphones within the watch provides around four hours of listening time with ANC activated.
With an IP54 certification, the in-ear headphones are suitable for sports and can withstand some rain. However, users should take care to keep the smartwatch dry, as it lacks an official water resistance rating. Huawei advises drying the headphones before storing them in the watch to prevent moisture damage.
