Manufacturer OnePlus is due to present its first foldable OnePlus Open in a few days – a first teaser has already been published by the company. The folding cell phone is intended to set new standards and could, in particular, compete with Google.

In the US Google Store, the Pixel Fold is called “Google’s first foldable and the thinnest foldable of all.” Applied. In German: “Google’s first foldable phone and the thinnest of all.” A leak from @MysteryLupin on Twitter now contains some technical information about the OnePlus Open and the note: “Thinnest foldable available in North America”.

How thin the new foldable should be is not mentioned. Nevertheless, the indication could indicate that OnePlus wants to outdo the Pixel Fold with its new model.

The OnePlus Open is said to be equipped with 512 gigabytes of device and 16 gigabytes of RAM. The foldable phone is also said to have a CMOS image sensor and a main camera with a six-fold optical zoom. According to MysteryLupin, the smartphone will have the largest battery built into a foldable to date, which can be charged with up to 67 watts.

The OnePlus will reportedly be available in Voyager Black and Emerald Dusk for $1,699, which is equivalent to around 1,612 euros.
