What is the best way to convince people to switch to e-mobility? The two-wheeler fans Benjamin Surain and Guy Salens from ON / Push the button today believe that the key to this lies not only in the technology, but also in the visual appearance of the e-vehicles. And indeed, the current creation, a jet black e-motorcycle, should appeal to both traditionalists and technology enthusiasts.

Because the Café Racer concept, which is based on an electrically powered Super Soco TC Max, looks modern and familiar at the same time, completely different from more crazy concepts such as the electric motorcycle from CAKE or the futuristic BMW CE-04 e-scooter. ON’s Super Soco TC Max Nuit noticeably lost weight in that breath.

The bike now only weighs 85 kilograms – a very good value compared to café racers that are traditionally equipped with combustion engines. On the other hand, there is an optimized electric motor with modified battery management, which generates a peak output of 5 kW.

Enough “juice” to accelerate the black two-wheeler to a speed of 110 km/h. Information on the maximum range is missing, as is the specific price of the conversion, which according to Motorbike Online is a matter of negotiation.

Among other things, the company has also developed a kind of replacement engine for 50-cc machines. The aim is to electrify the millions of single-cylinder mopeds in use around the world in the simplest possible way. In the linked article we summarize which e-scooters and e-mopeds you can already buy in Germany.
