Deere: further increase in annual profit target

(CercleFinance.com) – On the occasion of the publication of its quarterly reports, John Deere indicates that it is raising its profit target for the 2021-22 financial year to between seven and 7.4 billion dollars (compared to 6.7 to 7. 1 billion three months ago), including exceptional items for 220 million.

The farm machinery maker reports net profit up 17% to $2.1 billion in its second quarter, or $6.81 per share, as well as revenue up 11% at just under 13.4 billion.

“This performance reflects continued strong demand, even as we face supply chain pressures that affect production levels and delivery schedules,” said CEO John C May.
