Our colleagues from Frandroid revealed on June 7, 2024 that the Chinese brand had launched a recall campaign concerning three of its products due to battery problems: the Soundcore A3102 speaker in black version, the Ankerwork A3302 speaker and the Anker 321 external battery.

In the article, we learn that defective batteries in these devices present a fire risk. To check if its speaker or battery is affected, Anker has set up a dedicated page for each product:

There are specific instructions for obtaining the serial number. For Soundcore A3102 or Ankerwork A3302 speakers, it is possible to enter this information at the bottom of the page to find out if your speaker is part of the recall campaign. If so, instructions for replacing the defective product with a new one will be displayed.

For the Anker 321 external battery, Anker asks to fill out this replacement form in case the model number is A1112. The latter will also be replaced by a more recent model: the Anker 533.
