HASfter two postponements against the backdrop of the crisis between Paris and Berlin, Chancellor Olaf Scholz and President Emmanuel Macron have made an appointment for a small committee meeting on October 26. The partnership between the two most powerful countries in the European Union is going through a period of serious crisis, marked by disputes over gas policy and what is perceived in Paris as German unilateralism in terms of economic support for the population and to businesses. But these are only some of the contentious issues, the others relate to heavy disputes in the defense industry.
