Definitive Merging of Warzone and Vanguard Royale

With Warzone Season 2 Reloaded, Raven Software has announced that Vanguard Royale will be removed and merged to create a single Battle Royale experience.

Season 2 Reloaded will be available on March 23 and there are many changes planned. While Rebirth is getting a massive overhaul, the core Battle Royale modes are getting a similar treatment.

When Season 1 launched, players were treated to Vanguard Royale. This game mode only allowed them to use weapons from the latest CoD title. This not only affected the meta, but also had very different rules.

As part of unifying the community and creating a common experience, Raven revealed that they are getting rid of it and there will only be one BR mode.

Vanguard Royale merges with Warzone

On March 21, Raven revealed that Vanguard Royale will merge with classic battle royale to create a single mode in Warzone.

It has been described as an effort to take the best of both worlds; of Vanguard Royale and Warzone and make it the ultimate experience..

Raven Software previously released a poll asking players if they want the 50 life buff in Warzone. And after a vote, it seems the studio decided that the best solution was to combine the modes.

The new BR will combine features from Vanguard Royale.

With the merging of the two, that means things like the 50 health boost, specials, and restock events that were a staple of Vanguard Royale, will be coming to the new Battle Royale experience.

On top of that, it means the meta could branch out pretty broadly.

Players will be able to go there as soon as Season 2 Reloaded is released, scheduled for March 23.
