Halas, the summer was rich in urban rodeos and refusal to comply. I admit that such a development worries me deeply and perplexes me. First of all, it worries me, because it is in no way a phenomenon of the summer of 2022. For several years now, refusals to comply have been increasing, almost everywhere on the territory, in the police zone as well as in the gendarmerie; ditto for urban rodeos. Generally speaking, when you take the time to discuss it at length with the women and men in the field, the members of law enforcement units who are confronted with crime on a daily basis, you quickly understand that the brutalization of relations is at the root of this basic tendency which appears in the form of a problem of internal security.
