The aerial research by drone which was to begin this Monday, March 14, 2022 in Cagnac-les-Mines in the Tarn has been postponed. The reason is bad weather conditions.
Monday, March 14, 2022, from new investigations were to take place in an attempt to find the body of Delphine Jubillar. Indeed, the investigators wanted to start aerial research by drone to locate the body of the missing nurse on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020.
According to information from France 3 Occitaniathe research at Cagnac-les-Mines had to be postponed because of the weather situation especially strong winds. The department of Tarn is currently placed in orange alert to strong winds. The gusts are expected to last at least until Tuesday morning March 15th. Research will begin when conditions permit.
Disappearance of Delphine Jubillar: where is the investigation?
In early January 2022, investigators began excavations in a farm in Cagnac-les-Mines. During three weeks of intensive research, the gendarmes and soldiers searched several sectors of the town, without success. From now on, the investigators want to try aerial searches. Indeed, the research by drone which was to begin this Monday, March 14 could make it possible to detect the traces of overturned land which cannot be seen from the ground and could indicate where the body of the 33-year-old nurse was buried.
For his part, Cédric Jubillar, the main suspect in the case, continues to proclaim his innocence. Tuesday, March 15, 2022, a new application for release will be examined by the investigating chamber. Since June 18, 2021, Cédric Jubillar has been in detention in Seysses prison, near Toulouse, where he was charged with aggravated murder. For the moment, his numerous requests for release have all been refused.
