(CercleFinance.com) – Delta Drone International (via its subsidiary Rocketmine Pty Ltd) announces the signing of a contract to provide drone mapping services with Assmang Proprietary Limited’s Khumani iron ore mine, South Africa .
This contract corresponds to a three-year renewal. Its total value is 0.9 million Australian dollars (10.3 million South African rands) and corresponds to an annual recurring turnover (ARR) of 293,000 Australian dollars.
Khumani may nevertheless terminate it if Rocketmine Pty Ltd or an associated company does not transform into a 51% accredited B-BBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) entity within 21 months (compared to 26% currently).
The Khumani iron ore mine, located in the Northern Cape province, has an extraction capacity of 14 million tonnes per year. Apart from iron ore, Assmang also operates in manganese and chrome.
