Remember, last June, we showed you a demo of Demeo in augmented reality, here is that one of the flagship games of Resolution Games is about to be released in mixed reality on our Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro on October 25th.
How does it work? Mixed reality mode is activated by the pass-through of the platform Quest, which uses the helmet cameras to display the real world environment in VR. Users can then place the game board Demeo around the environment or on a surface to play.
A size difference, on the Quest 2, the view pass-through used for mixed reality experiences is limited by headset hardware and displays as a low-resolution, grayscale image. In contrast, the Quest Pro offering better definition and having improved cameras, including two for colorthe difference is as we said before in size!
Finally, know that Demeo isn’t the only mixed reality experience from an established title that will be integrated into the headset, as Schell Games also announced I Expect You To Die: Home Sweet Homea mixed reality experience in the form of mini-missions that will be released later this month.
