Demi Lovato has announced a new album, Holy Fvck, for August. The first single is due out on Friday.

Demi Lovato (29) will release a new album in just a few weeks. “Holy Fvck” will be released on August 19th. According to a press release, the record will contain 16 tracks, which are said to be a tribute to the pop star’s musical past. Lovato apparently relies more on rock and pop-punk sounds.

First single and planned tour

on Instagram is already giving Lovato a mini foretaste. But fans don’t have to wait long for a fresh song. The first new single “Skin Of My Teeth” will be released on June 10th. The night before, the song will premiere on US presenter Jimmy Fallon’s (47) “Tonight Show”.

Working on an album has never been as fulfilling as it was on “Holy Fvck,” the star said in a statement, according to the release. “I’ve never been more confident in myself or my music and this record speaks for itself,” Lovato continues. The album is for the fans.

Also a “Holy Fvck” tour will be available for the new album, where Lovato is joined by Dead Sara and Royal & The Serpent. So far, however, only appearances in North and South America are planned between August and November. It starts on August 13th in Springfield, Illinois. The last show for the time being is on November 6th in Irving, Texas.
